Tridosha – Vata, Pitta, Kapha– Fundamental principles / energy of our body

Individuals each have all three doshas present in their constitution; however, the individual proportions of them vary and affect your personal physical and psychological properties as well as a general health profile.

Balance of tridosha lead to health and imbalance lead to disease condition.

The functions of tridoshas:

  1. Vata: responsible for movement, communication, and creativity
  2. Pitta: metabolism, energy, and intelligence
  3. Kapha: structure, stability, and nourishment
